Less than 100 days, Why aren't we All Screaming like Weiner ?

I do not understand the lack of Democratic enthusiasm. I was enthusiastic in 2008 because I was inspired. Today I am enthusiastic because I am angry. After 2 weeks of Republicans blocking unemployment benefits, healthcare for 9/11 workers, campaign finance reform, small business lending, after 18 months of Republicans purposely voting 'No' to prevent economic recovery, hoping for the failure of this president, voting against the American worker, I feel like Anthony Weiner. We should all be screaming like Anthony Weiner.

4. There are multiple objectives to be gained
a changed vote would be great, but they are Republicans, and Anthony knows this. Democrats need some passion in leadership to get the vote out, to make it seem worthwhile.

5. What I can't understand is this also
why in the hell don't the Democrats descend on DC en-mass and let them have it. We have all these republicans organizations showing up and bopping and ranting about the Democrats and the Democrats sit on their ass and take it. The only way we ever get any press is if we are right there in DC. The media refuses to cover any of the other overwhelming rallies any where else. They have to cover those in DC.

Look at the million man march why can't we do something like that. YOUR ARE CORRECT ALL OUR POLITICIANS AND WE AS WELL, SHOULD BE GIVEN REPUBLICANS HOLY HELL.

11. Because most of us, don't even have enough money
to know if we will have a roof over our head next month. The ones that feel secure enough, don't care enough.

Buses cost money, so does taking off from our "lucky we're working" jobs.

12. Lack of interest, even from those here on this very site. It's really quite
sad when you think about it.

Last weekend I put up a post in an attempt to unite people on common ground. I had a total of 6 responses from three people, but I had close to 400 views.

its OUTRAGEOUS (that word again) that republicans use "process" as an excuse to continue fucking over America.

This is real fucking outrage, not the BS that assorted idiot bloggers and Huff Po wants us to worry about.

21. It also indicates a long overdue appropriate display of frustration over
the constant games that the Republicans play.

The nation needs to have their attention drawn to it and they need to understand what is really going on here. There are plenty on DU who don't quite seem to get it either. Nothing gets done of any consequence because Republicans will hold their breath over ANYTHING that might reflect well on the Democrats. They don't give a sh*t about the people of this country or governing and it's long past due for someone to stand up and display righteous anger over it instead of blaming Obama for the slow recovery and high unemployment and watered down legislation, etc, etc.

The Republicans are playing games with absolutely everything and I think it finally struck a nerve with Weiner. Why in the hell did they need to attach an amendment to this bill that would have made sure "illegal aliens" do not get health insurance? What is the point besides political grand standing? If they would denied health care to 911 rescue workers who were injured in their efforts just because they weren't in the country legally then shame on them. What the hell does illegal immigration have to do with this bill?

I think Anthony Weiner is genuinely outraged and it's about f*cking time someone on our side was. The Republicans are destroying this country in their quest for power and some things are just too important to not lose control over them.

We didn't get to see that person because the camera is fixed. Weiner was angry at that person in particular. He didn't just scream at thin air. We get to scream at thin air which doesn't react or refute or give a shit. It's not the same.
