Which is why so many here (including me) get so frustrated with the Louise Mensch fascination, because she clearly repeats pretty much anything she hears from any source (even if it's only her own head sometimes). Without the vetting that actual journalists use she is susceptible to be used. Anybody could feed her any crazy idea and she would repeat it without any concern. (I should make up something weird and send it to her and see what happens.) Which is, of course, exactly how the Russian trolling worked. Throw something controversial/divisive out there and get people fighting about it. No evidence needed. It's like throwing a hologram of red meat to real wolves.
