Out of curiosity I signed up for Facebook. Over time I use it less and less, and am so glad I didn't jump on the Twitter bandwagon. I just think a case can be made for ignoring, banning, deleting the whole idea. Instant brain farts going into print worldwide are wreaking havoc. Just my fart for the morning.

Facebook is just fluff at this point.

(6,402 posts)I use it heavily to communicate with my readership and engaging in discussions while also keeping up on a range of news related to my business.
But since you don't like it, let's delete the whole idea.

(17,665 posts)..I never go on Fb to read any comments. In fact I have told ppl if they voted for trump to unfriend me. I don't go on to see who did and who didn't. My goal is to have everyone unfriend me on FB lol. I love twitter.. its too the point and has lots of hyperlinks to really get into the issue and it also gives me a platform where I can tweet trump every day and call him names.

(33,059 posts)This was the ban that the trump people tried to impose the last weekend of January. I learned about the demonstrations at House of Reps that led to disabled people being pulled out of their wheelchairs. I learned that Sen. Portman(Ohio, heartless) kept disabled constituents waiting better part of a day, then had the Columbus PD remove them, 2 women were knocked out of their chairs. I learned about at least 5 shootings of POC by Columbus PD. I have learned quite a bit about social justice actions through by twitter time line.
You don't like Twitter, don't use it. I will continue to do so.
BTW, welcome to DU.
