3. Losing Kelce did them in

That hit is apparently legal, but I think the NFL needs to think about it. The Titans player led with his helmet (launched) right into the side of Kelce's helmet.

Also the 2 pt. non-fumble was ridiculous.

Still it looks like the Titans have drafted well. They have a heck of a backfield in Mariotta and Henry. Henry showed considerable smarts and endurance. He is definitely a top flight back.

Alex Smith had a great game. Too bad he didn't have any players who could actually catch the ball after Kelce went down. He is definitely valuable trade bait.

He played a great game. I lost count of the number of dropped passes. 24/33 for 264 yards and 2 TDs and no interceptions. His check downs were because he didn't have any receivers. Hill is a great track staff, but was a poor receiver today. The backup TE had hands of stone.

If the Browns could find a way to get Nagy as head coach and Smith as QB, they would probably make the playoffs next year.

that is a good point.

Did losing Kelce cause them to go conservative?

14. I think losing Kielce hurt but KC still has good offensive talent without Kelce. I was surprised

Their offense sputtered so badly. I was also surprised that Mariotta’s touchdown pass to himself was not reviewed. It seemed to me that he was beyond the line of scrimmage when he released the ball. Then, it bounces off of a helmet and Mariotta catches his own pass and runs into the end zone. Unbelievable.

They should have ran the ball with Kareem Hunt more but didn't do much of that in the second half leading to quick possessions.

http://www.kwch.com/content/sports/Report-Referee-Jeff-Triplette-retiring-after-performance-in-NFL-playoffs--468250963.html

Referee Jeff Triplette is reportedly retiring from NFL officiating after a questionable performance in the playoffs game on Saturday between the Titans and Kansas City Chiefs.

NFL Network reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala announced on Sunday morning that Triplette is expected to retire after the 2017 season.
CBS Sports reports, there's a pretty good argument that Triplette's crew impacted the outcome of the most anticipated playoffs game.

When Derrick Johnson took down Marcus Mariota there was a clear recovery by the Chiefs. Triplette ruled Mariota's forward progress had been stopped.

In another play, Mariota was sacked again during a Titans' two-point conversion attempt. If it was a fumble and not a sack, KC would’ve regained the lead with 2 points of their own.
