"French President Emmanuel Macron has accused the U.S., Israel and Saudi Arabia of instigating a war as their mutual foe, Iran, was rocked by a week of protests.
The official line pursued by the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia, who are our allies in many ways, is almost one that would lead us to war," Macron told reporters, according to Reuters.
It was "a deliberate strategy for some," he added."
............
President Macron is right, the warmongers of Saudi, Israel and Trump are not only wrong, but acting against international law by interfering in another nations affairs....not that the three ever gave a crap before.
And now illegally imposing sanctions, which have zero effect in regime change (see Cuba), not to mention Iranians hate Trump exactly for that. Ridiculous policy by all three isolated regimes.
Honor your agreements, America, or who will ever agree with you again?
Prosecuting protesters in America while illegally supporting protests in another nation is the height of hypocrisy... even for a fake regime.

(26,034 posts)how does puppetmaster pooty-poot feel about it? I think he'd be none too keen on war and instability so close to Mother Russia. There's also the matter of economic interests, so I'd expect Russia to whisper in tRump's ear to leave Iran the fuck alone.

One of those territories in Lebanon.
Another is Syria.
Like Russia, it tries to be a player in the ME and in Africa. This is less about Syria, Iran, and Lebanon or even about the US, than it is about France.
The US is also imposing sanctions on Russia and on Venezuela. Oddly, these are two of Iran's allies.

(3,430 posts)...its plausible. The Saudi royals purge/coup, the moves with Israel's capital to catalyze Hamas and Hezbollah, and the settlement of Syria to Russia's liking seem like indicators. I think Iran is the odd-man out, and that Putin would sell them out to US, Israel and KSA as Iran is nothing but a strategic Eurasian competitor to Russia in the long-term.
I believe it, no doubt the "uprising" in Iran is a produced "color revolution".
