I just secretly wish I could live in a time when people would sneer when they said the word Republican. Maybe crinkle the nose like someone farted.

I'm still salty about how they took the word "liberal" and made it a bad word.

They do it with movements, too. They take "take a knee" and turn it into anti-military. They take BLM and turn it into "all lives matter". Maybe it's because they are organized from the top down (messaging is paid for by billionaires and orchestrated to be repeated by all the RW programs) that makes them able to do this better than us. We depend on grass roots movements and less organization.

I identify republicans as being mostly ignorant conservatives with fake christian values

It doesn't advance the debate.

They are more to be pitied.

They don't want our empathy, our understanding, or our outreach. They do not want to debate us.

They want to silence us and subjugate us. They are idiot racist fuckheads, and they deserve to be identified as such.

It has the benefit of being 100% accurate, and it's not likely that they'll try to reclaim the term as they've ironically tried to embrace the "Deplorables" label.
