Memes - how/who starts them - viz, the Oprah meme

So I'm a shallow awards show junkie and saw the Oprah tour de force speech, fine.

My immediate impression was: O.K., this was written, rehearsed, and delivered, and magnificently so, and Oprah is a great performer on stage, screen, and t.v. And probably as a human. Fine.

So the next step in the media is that she is running/should-be president. To which I say, if TWITLER is, why not?

What does she believe? Beyond touchy-feely stuff, which is fine with me, who knows. Maybe also, sure she is a master of fire marketing expertise, who knows. If she can *win* it's fantastic as far as I care. Because she's more than likely for all the things I believe and like.

When OBAMA came along I abandoned my fierce Hillary allegiance and became more allegiant to him than his original supporters.
