Is there a GOP conspiracy to discredit the Trump-Russia investigation?

Democrats in Congress are leveling a serious accusation at their counterparts: Republicans are trying to undermine parallel investigations of whether Donald Trump's presidential campaign colluded with Russia.

Republicans “have blocked, stonewalled, and rejected our basic requests to investigate, hold public hearings, and advance legislation” about Russian meddling, six Democrats on the House committee in charge of the investigation wrote to House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.), as The Washington Post's Karoun Demirjian reports. " … House Republicans have chosen to put President Trump ahead of our national interests.”
<snip>

Republicans respond that they are investigating where the facts lead. So, where, exactly, are Democrats getting the idea that there is a GOP conspiracy to undermine the Russia investigation? Here are four flash points.

1. Republicans are asking the FBI to charge the spy who raised the alarm on collusion:

2. Republicans are suggesting that the FBI started investigating Trump for political purposes:

3. More than a year after the election, Republicans' are investigating Clinton:

4. Republicans are upping calls for Mueller to step down: - WaPo

Repeatedly. Publicly. Until it permeates the national conscious and convicts the fools who maybe aren't out and out racists, but would murder for their tax cuts.

This pResident is literally causing the deaths of people across this planet. Happily. Proudly. And up to this point, without any type of significant opposition.

It's strategy time.

How I wish we had some powerful leadership during these times.
