Hillary weighs in on trump....thank you Ms. Clinton

The anniversary of the devastating earthquake 8 years ago is a day to remember the tragedy, honor the resilient people of Haiti, & affirm America’s commitment to helping our neighbors. Instead, we‘re subjected to Trump’s ignorant, racist views of anyone who doesn’t look like him.

Say daily? Yeah, I know, she's better than that. So what. He deserves to be ridiculed every single second of every single day and I can't think of anyone who could get under his skin better than her. Maybe she and Obama could get a tag team thing going.

Especially from his preferred punching bags.

I think the little boy's ego would deflate quite a bit if everyone (including me) paid him no mind.

Now, we need to make sure that all of the REAL workers in the government (executive, judicial, agencies, military) all know how to Put Things On Hold. Wait a day or a week and the little boy will find something else to stick his stubs into.

The misogyny in our society is frightening--and well-camouflaged. People like Matt Lauer and Mark Halperin have been exposed. Others, like Joe Scarborough and John Heilmann continue to be treated with respect they don't deserve.

My favorite part of that ridiculous election was when Joe, Mika and John declared that Hillary invented the birther rumor. I'm sure you remember the insanity of 2008 well, Bea. People accused her of anything and everything. And yet that particular charge was never made. Then, eight years later, we suddenly learned that she started birtherism. And we just don't remember it because the media never thought to include it in their 2008 HRC coverage.

A stunning percentage of this country probably believes that this is true. Probably not a majority, but almost all Republicans and a decent number of independents. My guess it that it is 50/40 that she didn't, with 10 percent uncertain.

I hope that all is well with you and Happy (belated) New year!!!!

Yes, the pundits sure did a lousy job with Hillary. The sexism was rampant and has been so since she became a public figure. I guess intelligent women should be demure and hide their light under a bushel lest men feel insecure. Political criticism is legitimate, the myriad comments about her appearance were not. What irked me even more were the women who joined in and criticized her hairstyle, clothing, etc.

During the presidential campaign they focused on issues like her server and emails or Benghazi, when the elephant in the room was Trump. They aided and abetted his rise to power. Now we are stuck with a truly repugnant man who has no redeeming qualities whatsoever, aside from being an intellectual mediocrity who knows nothing about governing or policy. The man is an abomination.

She actually used the R word. But it's 2 or 3 years too late. And not just her, every high ranking "he could be a good President" that had ample shot as guests on media. One of the reasons Dems lost. Republican and right leaning independents have been conditioned to read go-high politeness as weakness. Of COURSE it's wrong and sick and scary. But it's true.

And maybe even just enough traditional Dem voters that were fed up with the same luke warm responses and stayed home.
