Trump is very selective with his concern about things. He doesn't care if disasters come to states that did not support him. He is blind to such things, deliberately.

Didn't matter if it was ...they needed to buy time to find out what was really going on and come up with a plan BEFORE trump. They could not risk him watching Fox News or reacting in his usual idiotic manner. Any other president would have been informed that the alert went out, and let the president decide or at least be a part of the process of finding out what was going on.

Trump was lied to in order to give the adults a chance to figure out what to do. That is my sincere belief. It is why I think the WH initially said it was a training exercise before it came out that some hit the wrong button. The training excuse was in place before any facts were found out.
