Trump's newfound friendship with Graham takes a hit

From CNN:

Trump's newfound friendship with Graham takes a hit

CNN has learned that the Trump-Graham relationship could be changing in light of controversial comments made by President Trump in an Oval Office meeting. Trump reportedly used a vulgar term when he interrupted the South Carolina Republican as Graham was trying to explain a bipartisan immigration proposal. CNN's Chief National Correspondent John King reported that the White House had hoped the Republicans in the room would come to Trump's defense.

Sen. David Perdue, a Republican from Georgia, went from saying he "did not recall" Trump's phraseology to saying on ABC's "This Week" that, "I'm telling you he did not use that word."
Another Republican, Sen. Tom Cotton from Arkansas, who also said he did "not recall" Trump's comment, now tells CBS' "Face the Nation" that, "I didn't hear that word either, I certainly didn't hear what (Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin) has said repeatedly."

But Graham hasn't rushed to back up the President's denial.

Graham issued a statement that, while not getting into the details, confirmed he had challenged some of the President's views. Graham's statement went on to praise Durbin — who was also in the room and who publicly angered the White House with a detailed public account of behavior that Durbin labeled as vile and racist. Once a fierce Trump critic, Graham more recently has been a presidential defender and a golf buddy. The senator knows the President is mad at him, but believes he did the right thing, King reported

Graham also reportedly confirmed hearing Trump's racially charged remark in a conversation with fellow South Carolina Republican Sen. Tim Scott.

Reached Friday at a Samsung appliance plant opening in Newberry, Scott said that Graham told him the comments, as reported in the media, were “basically accurate.”

So basically, motormouth busts in and rudely vomits that racist bullshit while Lindsey was talking, and his colleagues have thrown him under the bus.

6. Sorry, Lindsey. You've lost your position in the daily buttsmoochie procession.

Those in the know try to maneuver for the earlier positions (within the first fifty or so), before the Royal Ass is all stained with Chap-Stik, lipstick, and the occasional love note scrawled with a Sharpie.

Your're better off not showing up at all, Lindsey. Remember, when you kiss trump's butt, you're also kissing everybody ELSE who's kissed trump's butt!

Why would anyone lie about Trump calling other countries shitholes? There's plenty of stuff to hold against Trump without making things up. I'm persuaded Trump said it.

Second, what is driving some people, like Sen. Graham, to cozy up to Trump? Do they think it will save them from his scorn when he gets pissed? It won't. Trump doesn't really have friends in the conventional sense. He has allies and enemies, and a person will cross the line to enemy without warning and for no real reason.

He did not say who told him about it. Was it Graham? Who knows...All he would say is that he was told basically the same thing that the media is reporting.

Trump has told Graham that if he doesn't toe the line, he'll be scorched by Putin, Graham suddenly changes his tune and commences asskissing Trump while concurrently despising the man, and when Trump uttered his racist profanity in a meeting and interrupted Graham's presentation in the process, Graham spoke his mind to him in person, but not in the public eye, where blackmail is still a very strong motivator.

Just my guess (and my run-on sentence).
