Rural California Counties Want To Secede & Create Two Californias. MSN

You wonder what kind of nonsense is left. Rural counties in California want to separate from the coastal cities. We have a bunch of insane assholes who should be in a mental hospital. You just get so sick of these secessionists. Just cut off all their federal dollars and fence them out. Stop all shipments from the coastal cities that bring in the necessities of life.

Talking about secession is as old as the hills!

It will not go anywhere.

It never does.

it would be something to consider, then the Dem Majorities in each House can cut EVERY CENT OF FEDERAL AID this new state.

Teach them to live on their own, since that is what they want.

I would be highly entertained to watch the deplorables squirm.

In the future I want to see Democrats oppose any and all aid for agriculture.

Water is. Some of those nuts want to cut off water to the cities if they can't secede. It should be noted that these nuts are different then the Calexit nuts. Calexit wanted an independent California, these "New California" people want to stay in the US, but be their own state.

Proclaiming how their people are self-reliant, while forever needing Federal aid to allow their people the freedom to maintain that opinion of themselves.

Fox News is actually doing more to divide California than Jerry Brown ever could. They are the worst thing that has ever happened to this country.

We have some crackpots who support calexit and the guy who started that is a loon who left the US to live in Russia, so its not exactly mainstream.

Many people live out here because of affordable housing, but commute to the cities everyday. Just as other rural places do, we depend on the cities for jobs, shopping and entertainment, and everything we buy is shipped in from those places or the big cargo ports. Like any other small community we contract with state and county agencies for all our public services.

There are a couple of counties in northern California that want to pool with some nutters in southern Oregon to secede and form their own country.

The differences between rural and coastal California is insane, I feel like I'm in a different country every time I go to the Bay Area. The differences just got even bigger over the decades
