Cotton IS the government. He's also a Senator, and is part of Congress. He cannot do what he is doing. Period. People should continue. Let him attempt to take legal action. The highest law of the land rules here.

(146,351 posts)He can throw them away unopened. But he cannot demand that people not write to him or call. The minimum that should lead to is censure by the Senate for unconstitutional actions.
