Why this fight tonight matters

Kellyanne Conway on Hannity: "You've got Donald Trump, our president, very cleverly having the Democrats be against CHIP, a children's health plan"

If Dems vote for this CR, Republicans win. That tweet is them rubbing it in our face, telling us they happily created the wedge that broke us. We do not “win” when we start seeing 800,000 people being rounded up, arrested and deported starting March 5th and republicans just get to shrug and say “we tried” while Dems twist in the wind as the focus of blame by every Dreamer and those that support them (read: almost everyone) is on Democrats l alone because everyone already knew republicans were assholes but they expected more from Democrats.

Today it’s CHIP...next time it will be Social Security or Medicare or Medicaid or Food stamps or whatever other issue the GOP can think of to hold hostage...no, this is our time to take a stand....it may be the Alamo, but damnit I’m proud to stand on the side of right!
