Compromise and bipartisanship don't mean

capitulation to the majority's demands. It requires the understanding both sides won't get *everything* they want and will be somewhat unhappy with the end result.

Democrats (most of them) won't enable Republicans without getting a concession or more.

I don't think we've ever seen such a fuckup in office. Any office. And, with a few exceptions, his Republican lapdogs aren't much better.
