(1,068 posts)It is a clear statement of what 45 is not doing for us.
It goes under the heading of "Leadership for the Country".
Do any of the Right Wing see that?...No.
Which is why we have a government shutdown. Plain and simple.

(58,785 posts)for a lot of personal reasons, even if of course most are drawn from somewhere on the left.
Our individual collections of beliefs are more like chopped salads than rigidly ideologically confined.
Women's issues even energize some social and religious conservatives, oxymoronish as that might seem. For those last anything can become "different" when it's about them. They're pros at maintaining conflicting passions.
Of course radicals and outright extremists are well represented, but only some of those are currently from the left. And it's not uncommon for some to migrate so far right that it'd take careful questioning to identify left-wing origins. Notably, though, all tend to dismiss the beliefs and needs of those who think different from them. And that includes whatever their beliefs are on sex roles.
And, very on point, even people in the vast mainstreams of the right and left, content to wait for (or ignore) the next election on most issues, can care strongly enough to be active on one or two.
Not belief "systems," belief salads.
