When I am out and about, such as at the gym or swimming pool or grocery store, etc. I hear people parroting Fox news talking points or repeating lies that the current administration perpetuates. I just ignore them most of the time, who needs to get into an altercation with a stranger over such stupid shit.

Everyone has to judge how they can best get through their day in their community. I am a larger than average guy and am otherwise more able to confront these hateful loudmouths.

I wear an IMPEACH TRUMP tee shirt over my regular shirt most times I venture out. And, then I keep my mouth shut---unless someone starts with their "Libtard" crap, and then I respond with whatever fact and figures are necessary to rebut their nonsense. I have no illusions that I will change THEIR mind, but the onlookers, those who heard the spew of fascist-worshipping bs, will at least know that 1.) their are those, who seem confident in their facts, who disagree, and, 2.) vertebrate liberals exist in their neighborhood.

I also stick a hand-lettered 1 x 3 Impeach Trump sticker on gas pump screens, men's room mirrors and any other location where it will be seen. People need to know they are not alone in their disgust with these monsters.

When I say I ignore them ....

It's not that I don't want to. But, when you're a woman alone, and some moron follows you out to your car spewing hate crap, it gets to the point where you don't feel safe. That happened to me once. I was glad that there were other people around, but hey, he could very well have followed me home, or worse. Sometimes it just isn't worth it.
