It is true that Trump has achieved cult leader status. I suspect they'd let it go even if they find out he'd had gay sex. I don't think they would have let Gingrich off the hook for that.

But they didn't care. I get that a lot of the men actually saw that as a plus since he lived a life they fantasize about. But how so many Christians see Trump as this great hero I will never know. I have seen Christians argue that Trump is similar to King David in that he is morally flawed but still an instrument of God. But if I remember my Bible correctly the history of the Israelite monarchy was not a happy one so I don't see how this argument makes any sense.

I don't know the Bible very well. Trump is trash. King David is morally able to see what his mistake was and repent.

Trump is a five-time draft dodger with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
