OMG. Anyone see tonight's X Files? *spoilers*

There was a great jab at Trump. The entire episode surrounded parallel universes and there was one where an alien comes down and says to Mulder and Scully that they're going to build a wall around our solar system to keep our beings from reaching the far ends of the universe, and literally proceeded to echo most of Trump's talking points. It was a thing of beauty.

I did love when the alien said that he was going to build a wall around our universe and that we were all rapists.

I wish he had said something about us paying for the invisible space wall.

I'm up late and was just watching an old episode of Golden Girls.

It's the one where Dorothy (Bea Arthur) dreams she is on an episode of Jeopardy with Rose and Charlie (neighbor) Trebek asks the final Jeopardy question, which is, "Who is buried in Grant's Tomb?" Rose answers Cary Grant, Charlie draws a little man. Trebek says that Rose's answer is correct. Dorothy protests.

So then Trebek brings on Merv Griffin to settle it, and he sides with Rose. Dorothy says to him, "Mr. Griffin, you are the most beloved man in America. You are bright, you are charming...you are the anti-Trump!"

Man was a joke even back then.

...or something like that, which was hilarious.

If you hadn't been a big time X Files fan back when it was first aired, many of the cases cited wouldn't have made much sense. The Cruz connection on the conspiracy board made me laugh out loud!

he thinks that firing MUELLER, impeachment, especially if not convicted might be enticing to him as the ultimate reality show stunt, even the most world historical porn stunt, the way HITLER would experience erotic thrills while speechifying. We know about the spankings with magazines (pale stuff). We know that some super wealthy/powerful dudes like to be punished, such as one of Poppy BUSH's friends. Wouldn't this whole thing be the ultimate drama for him, available only to him in his belief in his own uniqueness?!1

Especially those written by Darin Morgan. His scripts are delightfully wry and intangibly profound. Quite the feat.
