and graduated from Penn State. What is rarely mentioned in the Sandusky saga is that law enforcement was complicit in the cover up.

Maybe work with the ad agency to choose something that reflects the sentiments of the dignity and dramatic nature of the front page?

Or leave it out of the meme you produce to promote your paper?

...than a car ad at the bottom of their newspaper cover. Especially another ad selling an SUV raping the whole planet with only 22 miles per gallon (city driving conditions).

How about a quote from Susan B. Anthony, Rosa Parks, etc?

We have ads like this all the time. The International Auto Show is going on now here in Downtown Detroit. I don't see why the ad is a big deal. Don't lose the message of the cover.

a) This is what newspapers do (in terms of ads), and b) it is a wonderful tribute.

Boggles the mind how he was able to carry on with his crimes as long as he did.

This #metoo movement may go a long way towards making this type of thing a whole lot more rare.

I live in metro Detroit. I do get the paper delivered. At first I thought part of the paper was missing. What a great cover! We here in Michigan are just as disgusted at the rest of the country. The president of MSU resigned last night although I'm not totally sure if she should be the only one held responsible.

It's Time For Every Last Coward Who Enabled Larry Nassar To Pay For Their Sins
by Charles Pierce

Nobody employed in the upper echelons at USA Gymnastics, or at the United States Olympic Committee, or at Michigan State University should still have a job. If accessorial or conspiracy charges plausibly can be lodged against those people, they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Those people should come out of civil courts wearing barrels. Their descendants should be answering motions in the 22nd Century. In fact, I can argue convincingly that none of those three institutions should continue to exist in its current form. USA Gymnastics and the USOC should lose their non-profit status forthwith. Michigan State should lose its status within the NCAA for at least five years. American gymnastics is no longer a sport. It’s a conspiracy of pedophiles and their enablers.
