https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2018/1/25/1735844/-I-Got-Yer-Sandwich-Right-Here-BoysJade Hameister is not your average high-schooler. At 16, the Melbourne native is the youngest person to accomplish whats known as the polar hat trick: reaching both the North and South Poles and crossing Greenland.
She believes in the power of young women and makes no bones about it. After her North Pole expedition, she gave a TEDx talk in Melbourne to inspire young women to ignore the social roles imposed by others and strive for their own goals.
Among the admiring comments to the YouTube video, there were the inevitable ignorant young men threatened by competent females, who dropped the chauvinist cliche, Make me a sandwich.
So
On her next grand outing, to Antarctica, Hameister (apt name, as youll see) decided to oblige. At camp, she prepared a ham and cheese sandwich in her tent and skied a klick to the pole. Where she most thoroughly served her trolls.
Tonight (it never gets dark this time of year) I skied back to the Pole again... to take this photo for all those men who commented Make me a sandwich on my TEDX Talk. I made you a sandwich (ham & cheese), now ski 37 days and 600km to the South Pole and you can eat it xx

Some men are such ignorant little sniveling creatures, frightened to death by strong women. Sometimes I wish we could just pack up their whiny little asses and drop them on some remote south pacific island to live out their bizarre, lord of the flies fantasies.
