Steve Wynn, RNC finance chair, wore extremely short shorts so when he sat down......................

GROSS

Several former employees said Mr. Wynn often walked around some areas of the complex in extremely short shorts without underwear, and he would sit in the salon to get pedicures in such a way that his genitals were exposed.

He paid $75 million in a rape settlement. Women on his staff were terrified of him.

I knew an artist who designed a wrap-around style of men's shorts just for this problem. His words: "There's nothing uglier than a pair of balls hanging out."

This person basically corroborates everything that is being said about Wynn. He (Wynn) is a POS. He did not respect anyone, with the exception of his fellow mega rich types. I could mention some salacious details about the going-ons aboard his aircraft, but I'm sure my fellow DU'ers get the picture.

the guy who was always at the library with his cutoff short shorts and his stuff hanging out. We would complain, but when we would go back, he would be there again.

And it's something staff should take seriously.

Edit: and if I actually have to try to explain why adults exposing themselves should, at least in theory, result in the adult being banned from said library vs children being the ones forced from the space... wow.

And I doubt I will.

Although on DV, I'm perhaps not the best person to speak. My older sister got out fast, and at 10 I was the one calling the police when he attempted to "take his wife back" -- both he and I thinking she would be at a disadvantage because she had a sprained ankle and was on crutches.

I watched through the front window on the phone as she beat the living fuck out of him with the crutches.

The closest I got to the situation that she was in when he started hitting (isolated geographically and trying to isolate from friends/family) and I got verbally abused, because of having seen the signs, and hearing her talk about them, left before he could get to hitting.

But that also meant I left before he'd succeeded at completely isolating me, before I was so attached I would forgive the verbal slap obviously at my self-esteem, before I was dependent on him, and definitely before I had a kid with him.

I love my big sister.
