It's lovely to see all the experts proved wrong.

All the experts who so solemnly opined that nobody ever does a good job delivering a State of the Union response,

and nobody ever would.

Jindal was never impressive in any way but Obama had just gotten elected so that was the time they starting putting some people of color up front just based on that alone . but there was never anything good about him.

Rubio kind of made sense but he was also overrated and we saw in the debates how he is kind of an idiot and only had the same rehearsed lines.

it wasn't just one bad appearance for them, it was that they never actually have had good appearances in anything.

He was smart to hold it in front of a friendly, relatable audience in his district.
