I swear there was a point when even the non-stop applause after every correctly read sentence wasn't going to be enough to keep the guy on his feet and reading.

Trump could barely read the teleprompter and it sounded like he was reading most of it for the very first time. Random inflection. Tired old gimmicky stagecraft. Breathless tired slooooow snorting sniffly delivery. Boring boring boring.
