General Discussion

time for unity. Rethugs hold their nose and follow in a straight line. That, of course, is not good but they stick together. Joe Manchin makes me want to throw up. If we could only replace him with a decent democrat.....

(50,334 posts)In the interest of being "fair and balanced," the media feels the need to criticize the Democrats for something. Joe Kennedy's lip gloss is pretty weak, so now the number of responses is the meme du jour. It doesn't matter. 48 hours from now no one will remember any of the speeches.

(13,390 posts)I saw it as a cooperative effort. Like congress members taking their turn. There has probably never been so much to set right. Many voices reinforces the idea that we have to pull together with the independent strengths they have to the table.
We heard the diversity message and economic inequality was also part of the discussion. SEE!!! We can focus on both.

That's what the majority saw and heard.
There were what, five? I generally pay attention but I only know that someone gave one on BET And that Bernie did his thing on Facebook. Those aren't official party responses. I can't even name the other two as they didn't even get much attention here.
