Nunes' memo

The Republicans keep pushing to release the four-page memo that Nunes wrote (it was probably Stephen Miller). According to reports, it's a cherry-picked summary of a much larger body of evidence that the Department of Justice would have had to present to the FISA Court. This column from Talking Points Memo explains that the Nunes memo must under-represent the evidence presented to the FISA judge:

The problem for Republicans, though, is if the memo is released, it will cause other parts of that evidence to be made public. In that event, it will become abundantly clear that Carter Page deserved to be under surveillance. How can they not see this?

It's already set in stone that it is devastating to the investigation. In fact (to them) it shows that the FBI and DOJ were the ones who colluded, with the Dems, during the campaign - seen several times on FB I shit you not.

I thought this might be part of the Nunes/Miller calculation that no one will ever see
the rest o0f the evidence.

They probably believe that they can take a few selective nuggets of classified material,
parade them forward with the belief that none of the other classified material can ever be
released because it is classified and it would be illegal to release the material.

Then why won't the F.B.I. leak it? They're ethical.

But, boy, do I hope you're right!
