To this day, the character is an unwelcome comparison for any individual. Essentially, a Fredo is a weak link, a dimwit incapable of overcoming his intellectual shortcomings. Naturally, it took one of Hollywoods greatest and most overlooked actors to portray him. And when it came to the craft of acting, John Cazale was no Fredo. By the time of his death 40 years ago, Cazale had appeared in only five full-length feature films. Remarkably, all of them received an Academy Award nomination for best picture, and three won the top prize (The Godfather, The Godfather Part II and The Deer Hunter).

(14,961 posts)1. I believe he was dating Meryl Streep when he died, around the end of filming the Deer Hunter.
He was a really great actor with such potential. Very tragic.

(14,961 posts)6. I didn't know Robert DeNiro paid his insurance during filming, the production
Company wouldn't pay and wanted to recast. Another reason to love Robert DeNiro.

Rep. Mike Quigley, a Democrat, asked Nunes point-blank if his staffers had been talking with the White House as they compiled a four-page memo alleging FBI and Justice Department abuses over surveillance of President Trumps allies in the Russia probe.
According to sources familiar with the exchange, Nunes made a few comments that didnt answer the question before finally responding, Im not answering.

As if that WASN'T a yes answer.
That moron has worn a path to the White House as he scurries back and forth racking up counts of obstruction.
