Maybe she just wants to go back to her old life as a useless socialite in NYC, where she could swan about all day, getting her regular mani-pedi and $500 hair coloring and doing whatever else useless socialites do all day, without having to deal with protocol and secretaries and having to pretend to have taken up, let alone actually care about, the sort of useful project First Ladies usually do. As First Lady she has to accompany her disgusting orange slug of a husband on all sorts of boring excursions and act like she enjoys it. As a useless NYC socialite all she ever had to do was attend some sort of fancy party every now and then, and she probably could avoid even seeing Spanky for weeks at a time.

Mrs. Trump is irrelevant. It's her husband we need to worry about.

If battered or abused, we need to care. Women suffer at the hands of batters daily. I think this man is capable of such abuse and he has been handed great power and is protected by people who care nothing for the women and children of the nation.

First, I never suggested that spousal abuse isn't an important issue.

Second, there is zero evidence that Mrs. Trump was physically abused. That speculation is unfounded. Equally speculative is the idea that she had plastic surgery. When you have evidence of either, let me know. Then I'll care about Trump's spousal abuse but not about cosmetic procedures. Her ugliness can be found in her soul, just like her husband.

While I hold Trump in the same contempt as you, there are factual issues with him that we need to address. Don't misdirect your energies into conspiracy theories. Unless you want to.

Having known a mom whose daughter was a model, I’d heard stories of how they are flown to other countries for cash and gifts. Luckily she was flown back when she declined, but in countries known for trafficking like Russia and some former USSR countries, Melania likely didn’t have much of a choice and as horrible as it sounds, Trump may have seemed her best option at the time.

I don’t even blame her for the birther crap since she probably learned long ago to never disagree with Trump.
