Watching a CNN Discussion..

on how Politics is now spilling over into everything else.

To make it short.. Think about this and I'm stating my truth..

I would not go a Dr. who I knew voted for Trump!
Why.. Simply because I think anyone who voted for Trump is not that bright..
I don't want someone performing a procedure or making a diagnosis on a condition I might have..

You guys agree?

My dental office has TVs, but never are they set to cable news, Fox or any other. They are set to non controversial channels, old movie channels, cooking channels, ect.

I find it difficult to trust the judgment of a trump supporter. What are they thinking?

The same was true when McCain picked Sarah Palin for his running mate. With judgment that poor, how could one vote for him? (Not that I'd vote for an R anyway!)

I just couldn't help but seeing that person in a lesser light. I couldn't stop myself.

Wow, this post about the cnn discussion just made me realize that I couldn't trust a.trump voter. I didn't realize.that until just now. I don't know if I like it, but it is what it is,I guess.

and I notice people's expressions when I see them glance at it. So far my three doctors have all liked it which does make a difference with me.

As soon as someone tells me they're a Trump fan I lose a little respect for them. I know some good people who voted for Trump and knowing how they voted just creates distance. That totally isn't fair on my part because how they voted has little to do with whether or not they are a good teacher, parent, dentist, or electrician.

They think they are doing the right thing and yes, there is misinformation driving that. When I talk to a Trump voter they are very certain about what they are talking about. When I say it back to them it sounds stupid, but there is a lot of misinformation that isn't adequately challenged.

The truth is most people I know, liberals and conservatives, are badly informed. They know what side they're on and go with the opinions of the pundits from that side. Most coverage is about the campaign strategy instead of the actual message of the candidates. When an issue is covered it's here's the issue and here's what each side says about it. People believe their side because there isn't any sort of baseline for people to go on.

My sincere belief is that the Republicans are wrong about everything. If, however, I ask 10 people around me what the Democratic policy on any given issue is, 9 or 10 of them won't know what the answer is. Is that because they're stupid or because the Democrats didn't do a good job getting their message out? When I'm talking to someone I tend to blame them for not knowing more.

When it comes to my business, however, it's not the consumer's fault for not knowing about it. It's my job to promote my business and make sure people know why what I do is important to them. I don't know where to put the blame, really. I think better information needs to be right in front of the general population and not something we have to track down. I also think that if both sides are always presented equally and only one side can be right that at least half of all coverage really is false. That isn't the viewer's fault.
