The Daily 202 Live with Sen. Bernie Sanders
He shook up the 2016 presidential election and may do so again in 2020. On Wednesday, June 6, The Washington Post will host Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) for a conversation with The Posts James Hohmann, national political correspondent and author of The Daily 202 newsletter.
Sanders will discuss why he has called the Trump administrations approach to immigration policy heartless, his recent condemnation of Israeli actions against Palestinians in Gaza and his future political plans. The leading liberal political voice in the nation will also address why he supports free college for everyone, universal Medicare coverage and he will assess the Democratic Partys chances in the 2018 midterms elections.
