(71 posts)Still mainly absentee/mail in ballots.
Calif is top two vote getters regardless of party move to general election.
So far Dem Andrew Janz is around 32% with second place, but many of the mail only precincts are largely rural, urban areas not in yet.

(15,097 posts)is probably going to re-elect Nunes. It's not like they didn't know he was a moronic treason-weasel last election, or the one before, or the one before that. That's a feature, not a bug.

(33,013 posts)Second poorest county per capita in the United States but they continue to vote for no change. It is blood red and has been the entire 30 years Ive lived here. At least we got Janz across the finish for second. We have a lot of work to do. Its a very heavy lift, even with a quality guy like Andrew.

(58,785 posts)LA Times has called it for Nunes and Janz. Since Nunes is in the middle of a huge mess, just maybe history in the making will help you lift.
Blood red here also in north Georgia, perhaps even more than there. At least, we're often rated one of the most conservative districts in the nation. Stupid's an old southern tradition here. Although, I did note our congressman finally removed belonging to ALEC from his website sometime this past year.

(95,012 posts)This seat has never been in doubt.
CA 10, 21, 25, 39, 45, 48 and 49 are winnable. This is not.
Retrograde
(10,184 posts)which is essentially his seat. (figures are from the CA Secretary of State's website). Die-hard right wingers somehow manage to get out to vote in all elections while the left wing stays home.
