(3,910 posts)I know several people who committed suicide or overdosed because of heroin. These people knew there was a possibility of addiction or overdose but they just didn't give a fuck. People feel like life isn't worth living anymore. It's very sad and getting worse everyday

(2,032 posts)He said he had been kicked out of school twice, and dropped out, and was having problems. One day he read Bourdain's book, and it helped him turn it around. He said he realized he could become a chef, and work when and where he wanted. He saw a path forward because of Anthony's book.
