Their silent complicity is the biggest disappointment of the trump administration.
They sit by and accommodate this madman who is destroying America globally and domestically.
They are all equally at fault. Traitors, all of them.

These people live in a very small contained world. They can have their very small stinky world all to themselves for it is contaminated!

(6,933 posts)They do not care about the people, the future, the planet. Hell, they do not even want to make things better for their own families in the future. Do they think there will be a special place with clean air, clean water, healthcare and safe jobs just for them???? Guess there will be private schools but who will teach, clean and feed them there????

(476 posts)and so much more, continue. Trump can only be partially blamed, as he has extreme mental problems. What is in it for the Republicans to ruin us? Money? Well, they already have most of that. Power? To what end? Fame? They are already infamous. Perhaps it is something like this:
Power+Greed+Short Sightedness+Psychopathology+Fear = Modern GOP

I understand there are "speaking" fees and other supposedly quid-pro-quo exchanges. But many of these are shams to bolster the critters bank accounts around the world, and under various mattresses.
ProPublica has been running some great in-depth exposes of what's rotten in the heart of politics. Perhaps it's already there and I didn't see it, or perhaps someone else is questioning how a junior representative from podunk, US can amass $1M in a couple of years on a gov't salary.

There's a lot of mental illness factors involved, but "conservative" fear of crossing any leader - a result of authoritarian beliefs - is a huge factor. The whole damned bunch shows signs of some degree of psychopathy as well.
