The White House trade adviser basically just said there's a special place in hell for Justin Trudeau

W.H. trade adviser Peter Navarro: "There’s a special place in hell for any foreign leader that engages in bad faith diplomacy with Pres. Donald J. Trump and then tries to stab him in the back on the way out ... that’s what bad faith Justin Trudeau did."

“We were very close to making a deal with Canada on NAFTA, bilaterally perhaps, and then we leave and Trudeau pulls this sophomoric political stunt for domestic consumption,” Kudlow complained, while adding the agreement that Trump pulled out of he had personally fashioned with Trudeau.

“I was there, extensively involved involved in the late night negotiations,” Kudlow elaborated. “President Trump was charming, everything in good faith. I was in the bilateral meeting with Trudeau and President Trump and they were getting along famously.”

According to the presidential adviser, Trudeau’s speech after Trump left was a direct attempt to undercut the historic meeting with the North Korean leader in Singapore.

“He can’t put Trump in a position of being weak going into the North Korean talks,” Kudlow excitedly exclaimed. “He can’t do that. And by the way, President Trump is not weak!”

Most Canadians agree and support our Prime Minister.

Remember Juno Beach? The Canadians went further inland and fulfilled all their objectives.
Remember The real Great Escape? Canadians were the majority of tunnel diggers.

Remember W's grandfathers sat in Hitler's olympics box? they chose their businesses over their country.

Funny, Trump is not talking about Macron. I guess he can still see Macron's thumb print on his hand.

I wonder how Trump feels about Putin now that Putin says Trump should not have pulled out of the Iran deal.

Prepare for war, my friends. The enemy is within you.

Mr. Baur, you were right teaching in my US history class in 64. " Corruption within destroys democracy". American democracy is dying.

I will never set foot in the USA again unless there is a big change. Our snowbirds to the USA will be fewer this year.

Sorry this is happening.

...for me, world leaders deserve our respect until they give us a reason to not respect them. And that reason should not be that they are not 100% "pro-Trump." Disagreeing with Trump is not an "attack" on Trump. Unfortunately, he'll never see it that way, and he will always go for the knee-jerk reaction and "strike back."

NO leader is "perfect."

That's partially due to the fact that no individual is "perfect."

But you look at the whole package, you look at the tone of International relationships over time.

Take a guy like Kim, for example.

KIM JONG UN ORDERS EXECUTION OF OFFICIALS USING ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUN
BY ELEANOR ROSS ON 2/28/17 AT 7:04 AM

http://www.newsweek.com/kim-jong-un-execution-officials-anti-aircraft-gun-561952

Five North Korean officials were executed using an anti-aircraft gun after allegedly making false reports that “enraged” leader Kim Jong Un, according to Bloomberg. The report of the execution came from the South Korean Information agency, which has not always provided reliable information on its northern neighbors.

Those killed were reportedly at deputy minister level, and worked under Kim Won Hong, who was purged from his position as state security chief in January. According to South Korean officials he was placed under house arrest. Officials say a statue of Kim Jong Un’s father, Kim Jong Il, was removed from Kim Won Hong’s garden because they “don’t deserve to have the statue,” according to CNN. Kim Won Hong ran North Korea’s network of prison camps and civilian surveillance infrastructure.

South Korea’s intelligence service briefed lawmakers during discussions about the assassination of Kim Jong Nam.

The intelligence agency did not reveal how it obtained its information, but the Institute for National Security Strategy—a South Korean think tank—describes Kim Jong Un’s reign as one of “terror.” A report on the “misgoverning of Kim Jong Un’s five years in power,” suggests that Kim executes people to obtain a tighter grasp on his government, and that he has executed 340 people since coming to power in 2011, including his uncle in 2013. Reports abound the executions are imaginative, and have included dogs eating prisoners alive, and flame-throwers.

THIS is someone who is not deserving of my respect, and he certainly doesn't deserve the recognition he's long desired on the "World Stage." And Trump is handing that to him, gift-wrapped in a lovely little bow.

I think most of us who are not wearing the red hats feel ashamed and embarrassed over the way G7 played out. Trudeau did NOT "make Trump look weak." Trump did that all by himself. Like I said, I can't speak for the entire U.S., and having said that, please accept my apology for unconscionable treatment that you and your fellow Canadians absolutely did not deserve.

You know it is bad when Jason Kenney and Doug Ford stand with Trudeau.

I tend to vote NDP...but I will vote Liberal, if necessary. I've disagreed with Trudeau on several issues, but he is my Prime Minister and I respect him.
