Us "elitist" liberals

Who were accused of hating America because we kept screaming there were no WMD’s in Iraq, were right and loved America enough to say it in the face of right wing propaganda and hate.

We also warned of financial disaster with loosening of regulations on banking and right wing borrow and spend policy and we were right on that count as well. We weren’t screaming about it because we hate America. But because we cared not only for our country but our people.

I am so sick of the liberals hate America meme. No, we love America enough to warn all the fools of disaster in the face of their hate and contempt of us and in essence stab America in the heart.

We will also be proven right about Russian collusion with the Trump campaign to defraud an American election and their puppet in office to destabilize our country in order to strengthen themselves.

So yeah we have a proven track record of being right. Call it elitist? No call it being willing to fight ignorance in the face of their hate.

And they can fuck right the fuck off.

because he pisses us off.

I ask them again...Why do you hate me? I am an American. I work just like you do (supposing he works at all). I pay my taxes. I breathe the same air as you do. I am happily married to a wonderful woman. Hell, I'm even the same color (cuz I know that means so much to you).
How am I so much a threat to you or your family that you hate me so very much?
I really want to know.

They're grossly indifferent to you. For every post made, or every media head losing their shit, or every Democrat in office taken down, it's rarely about hate.

As you stated, it's because you get pissed off. Nothing more than that. They derive pleasure from your emotional pain. The pictures of crying Clinton supporters post-election, the images of children locked in cages by ICE, the furor over taking a knee in football. Gamergate. The Russia investigation. Franken's ouster. The skewering of liberal comedians. The wholesale slaughter of Syrian and Palestinian civilians. Every damned thing the orange menace does. None of that is about an emotion so strong as "Hate".

Your pain gives them pleasure. Who you are or what you're suffering is irrelevant to them, so long as you suffer. To imply that they're driven by an emotion as complex as "hate" is grossly overstating the glaringly obvious.

It's just entertainment.

Only happened a couple times, and they weren't referring specifically to me when they complained about liberals hating america, (although everybody that knows anything about me knows i'm a liberal and that i loathe PINO and Silverspoon).

I simple replied that they are the america haters and then gave them a short list of things as my proof.

I didn't get them to agree, but i did them to quit talking gibberish.

I think a big part of it is how Rush Limbaugh and people of his ilk have demonized us. Think of someone in their car in traffic and they've tuned into Rush because they're desperate for some kind of entertainment (I, of course, relate to this) and whomever they've tuned into is saying the MOST outlandish things. And then when they go home and turn on Faux news - same thing. And then when they get online - same thing. There is an entire narrative about us that is pure fiction (regarding most of us anyway).
