I have no words

I stumbled across this while looking at a link from another thread posted in LBN. I shouldn't have commented in that thread so thought I'd start another. With all the shit we're going through right now, this drilled deep.

It hit me like a ton of bricks and I don't know what to say other than give your loved ones an extra hug.

That poor 8 year old boy, to say nothing of the younger ones.

I can't take much more of this insane world. Material greed and status worship have engulfed the entirety of our society and it is to the point of despair for people who just want to see the world become a better place, if only ever so sleightly, before we leave the stage and become part of history...

That woman and her family deserved better. People of conscience and good will across the world deserve better too. It breaks the heart, the soul, the spirit...it leaves me feeling helpless and without a clue of how we can pull back from what we have collectively become...

I wish that little boy peace and love in his shattered world and I feel so pathetic for not having anything more to offer than that...this America is not what I wanted to believe we would become, yet here we are.

Heartache abounds in our world; this was particularly wrenching.
