Republicans -- and conservatives in particular -- spent decades building the cult, providing direction and "spiritual guidance" for petty bigotries and pet peeves in order to build a shared sense of community, named a reliable "enemy" as the root of all problems, drove out apostates, and denounced any outside source of information as the lies of The Enemy.

They built the cult, Trump merely delights the True Believers, so they picked him to lead it.

And it's not as if the others are doing anything about it, so they're members too.

Sad to see people in that mewling, submissive state for a casino hustler with a long track record of deceit & malfeasance.

I had one such person, a friend from years ago, say that Trump has accomplished more in Singapore than Obama had ever hoped for!!! That's the type of nonsense we're up against!!

And they’d probably blame Obama or Hilary for making them do it as they took their dying gulps.
