Corruption: Rotten to the core

The American political system, at least since the passage of Citizens United, has become one of the most corrupt political systems in the world. Money has always been the mothers milk of politics but it has now become the only nourishment for present politicians. They beg for money.

The trump told his voters he was going to "drain the swamp". Instead, he has moved the Okefenokee Swamp to Washington. They are up to their necks in slimy, mossy alligators. They all arrived with their pockets full of money, willing to buy any politician with his hand out.

But, it didn't stop at our water's edge. Money came in from all over the world. Russia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and other countries were more than willing to buy a share in the once great democracy called America. Donald Trump and the Republicans were more than willing to sell it to them. They did not come to Washington to serve the public good - they came to cushion their pockets with all the money they could stuff in them.

The apple may look red and delicious on the outside, but inside, it is rotten to the core.

To them "drain the swamp" means LET PEOPLE DIE.

Old people, poor people, women, children, sick or injured people.

Anyone who needs social security to retire or who might ever been in need of health insurance and can't pay out of pocket for all their medical costs, anyone who might ever need some housing, food or medical help if they fall on particularly hard times...LET THEM ALL DIE.

That's the Republican mantra. Get rid of ALL social programs - the entire safety net. NO healthcare for ANYONE - especially not the poors and especially not the darks and especially not the women.

"Drain the swamp" == LET PEOPLE DIE.

Republicans & Trump WANT people to believe "drain the swamp" means something about reducing corruption in Washington DC. But quite the contrary. Corruption in the US government is worse than it's ever been in our entire history. So you must know THAT is not what they meant by that.

Forget the words. Look at the ACTIONS to understand what they really mean when they trot out these psychologically-targeted, marketing phrases. They are designed to make people believe they mean one thing when they actually mean something quite different. To see what they REALLY mean, look at their ACTIONS. Let it go through an analysis in your head first before making any assumptions as to the meaning.
