The next time he boards a plane to visit another dictator, arrest him for crimes against humanity!
The very least they can do is censure this maladministration.
ENOUGH!

(15,096 posts)If it is good enough for the Russians a la Magnitsky Act, it is good enough for Trump. Come on Canada, UK, France, Germany, let's see it happen!

(17,984 posts)Time to put this administration on alert and give the GOP congress people something to consider. Obviously, it is too easy for them to manipulate the narrative and cast aspersions on our party. If foreign governments, our allies, denounce him, then we might see a shift in public opinion.

(17,984 posts)I'm a lot more interested in our allies censuring him, though. Germany, France, Britain, etc. Some heavy hitters. China rescinding patents would hurt him, and he would call for some kind of bullshit trade war on them. I think that our allies are just biding their time, waiting for us to get him back under control. Maybe they are afraid of what Putin might do to them if they spoke up. I say enough is enough.

(17,984 posts)Someone please arrest him the very next time he steps off a plane in another country. Maybe there can be a reward for his capture?

(17,984 posts)He has to travel around whatever city he is visiting. You cannot tell me there is no way to arrest him.
But let's just assume it is impossible. Let's just say these countries take the easiest possible way out. They censure him. The do not allow him to visit their countries. They publicly denounce him. That takes very little effort. It would still go a hell of a long way.

(30,481 posts)He was elected. There is no will among Republicans to impeach him and his term isnt over.
Under your scenario Trump would have an approval rating of eighty percent and Pence would be unquestioned as he prepares a military strike.
We seem to be turning the corner electorally. Its been a long time for us on that one. Its bigger and more important for the world than the immediate removal of Trump when its not the will of the people.

(17,984 posts)They can censure him. This G7 meeting was a mistake because it normalized Singapore and, now, the kid detention. If the countries were to censure these acts, I believe we would be in a much better place. Hey, you said it yourself, the GOP congress will not lift a finger. I bet they would if the rest of the governments of the free world refused to normalize his crap.

(30,481 posts)I also think it would be huge if they listed crimes against humanity and began working through the courts. On top of that I think they should be doing it for their own safety.
When it comes down to it, if they actually attempted to apprehend a US President, the support for military action would be virtually unanimous.
The things mentioned in the first paragraph would be huge. We could use their help and they have personal reasons to take action.
Thanks for the conversation. Love your thoughts of censure.

He was implanted by neo-nazis against the will of the American people? Awesome line.
