He posted a meme about how he supported kids being put in concentration camps and how trump is “being picked on”. I’ll be civil if I see him in real life but I have no respect for him and I feel if you support this you are a terrible person.

They are so brainwashed that shunning them will get them even more angry. We need to find a way to speak to them, to their hopes, desires, dreams. I don’t want to talk to them anymore than you do, but, as long as we have the god-awful electoral college system, these people can’t be dismissed. Moral superiority is all well and good but we need to bring them into the fold to win elections or at least tolerate us. Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Jimmy Carter all knew how to handle these people and get their support.
