2020 rally.. a lot of Presidents are too busy actually doing their high demanding job to have time to punch up their egos with adoring brainwashed fans two years before the election.

(1,580 posts)I was actually feeling uncomfortable knowing that son of a bitch was only 150 miles away. Shame on Duluth for accommodating president flimflam.

(6,560 posts)Duluth has always had a special place in my life. When we were kids we went there every year for our vacation. It is was tarnished yesterday by the present of that monster. I am heart sick to hear there were 9000 people that attended. My only hope is that there were people from Wisconsin and North Dakota there that diluted the Minnesotan attendance. I know my evangelical nutjob sister was there from North Dakota. It is a sad morning for me.

(183,057 posts)What's really ironic about this is that this crowd, just yesterday, got a crystal clear example of how they are lied to and are willing to accept pretty much anything their media tells them. Trump and his minions had all their talking points going - only Congress can fix it, it's a LAW, I cant do anything about it - and then WHIFF it all went away. Yes the EO was again hastily and horribly written but Trump went from a signing ceremony (that was a capitulation on historic terms) directly to this rally and none of these people seemed to realize that they are clearly being lied to and played as fools.

(59,607 posts)Considering that NASA won't even stage a test of an American rocket capable of launching manned missions until next year at the very earliest.
Of course, that would mean more money for Russia, which makes sense in this shitshow.

(9,426 posts)he made down the escalator with Maleria? Remember that crowd, then discovering they had been paid to be there? Is he STILL doing this, paying people to applaud him? It is really difficult to imagine that there are THIS many deluded tRump worshipers still at large. We know the gop in DC is fully supportive of him, but surely regular people, normal people have seen enough by now.

(25,298 posts)it would really be telling if Trump is stacking the deck here by hiring supporters that cheer his every word at his rallies.
