Peter Schey and the Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law

Here is appearance on with Lawrence O'Donnell last night, with Peter Schey, the lawyer in a lawsuit that resulted in a key agreement governing the treatment of migrant children in detention called the Flores settlement. NOTE, because of this settlement, his Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law have the right to enter any facility holding these immigrant children.

The President’s executive action orders Jeff Sessions to challenge a court order that prevents the actions that are actually included in the President’s Executive order! One of the lawyers Sessions now has to challenge explains that families could end up jailed on military bases. Lawyer Peter Schey, tells Lawrence how he will respond in court to Sessions and Trump.
