If they didn't bother to coordinate and keep any records - at this point doing DNA matching might be the only way. But the bastards might not want to pay for it.

MyHeritage.com is coordinating with lawyers, agencies, and NGO's to distribute DNA tests to help match them with their families.

At BEST it's simply a lack of concern about the problem, much as there was a lack of concern for pets by so many rescue workers after hurricanes. (That's improving, and of course animal lovers are always concerned. But you get the picture.) And that's because these people, these brown asylum seekers, are no better than animals to them, literally.

At worst it's intentional. And this is what I suspect. Or really, a bit (or a lot) of both.

As someone said on Twitter: Cruelty isn't a byproduct of this policy, it's the goal.
