The method to the madness
This process reminds me of an aerospace company that had a procedure for a particular military aircraft that poisoned the workers. The injuries were serious and there were so many injured they were able to form a political group because they were being denied worker's comp. We later learned that was at the instruction of the State Dept - do not pay these people.
The workforce was disabled and some had died but the planes needed to be finished. The company decided to outsource the procedure to several small businesses at several locations around the state. This enabled them to finish the jobs but also limit the power of any future sickened employees. If one or two got sick in any location, it would not constitute a political block and by using subcontractors, the problems could be explained away or covered up.
So it is now with these children as they are being moved around the country. Any children who are lost, sick, and died will be harder to track and easier to manage if found out. We should now be offering rewards for information about their whereabouts and the state of their health.
