i told the room this last Monday or so. They are quasi-governmental, and more and more loaded w Repubs. You can call or email Americanredcross.org at any time to find out their position on anything.

affiliated with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

They are an independent Committee that is based in Switzerland, is very professional and makes controlled visits to prisoners of war, military prisons and other facilities.

They also have to have permission from the head of state and give their confidential reports directly to the head of state, giving interested leaders the chance to investigate what is happening at the field level and not worry that the results will be leaked.

ICRC = International Committee of the Red Cross

this is very nefarious, crimes are being committed, torture and drugs being administered, can't they get some sort a court order????

The organization was set up this way at its inception. They need for him to request that they go in. It isn't nefarious, it's just the rules of the organization, suck as it does.
