that is a good thing, but then this particular couple proves equality in that gay couples can also end up with domestic violence going on, which though a negative, shows that they are indeed no different from straight couples. Then again, I am pleased that both were concerned about DUI and drunken driving and sought to have the least drunk member of the couple drive, and the disagreement was about that. The woman is an interesting character; was she sober? She could have driven in that case.

Spouse works in a domestic violence program. The population of gay people coming in for services is about aligned with their local percentage of the population. Domestic Violence knows no boundaries.

And the son has a wife and kids- I imagine with someone else now? The father was a corrupt piece of shit who greenlit an extraordinary amount of development and pocketed bribes, while his wife got brokers fees for thousands of apartments being sold, while both lived in very nice subsidized housing.
The mayor later went to jail, got brain cancer, and somehow has survived all of it, 25 years later. (He also followed me home and threatened my building might burn down if I didn’t take a job with him). The funny thing was that the fight was literally the middle of a very busy intersection where the all night Daily News store was and everyone was talking about it the next day. And the town had a big event a day or two later where they’d do a practice blow up of the Macy’s balloons on a football field in town... and there he is, sporting a huge shiner! Shameless people. But yeah, I’ve never heard what happened to the woman and kid.

If you can think of it, and it is way out there, then it could happen in a country of 320 million people with what is probably the most diverse population ever imagined. and ..by diverse I mean all kinds of diversity...

..........this is more diversity than that. Let us add, smart, very smart, stupid, very stupid, kind, mean, people who just hate, people who would never hate....People who go out of their way to help others, people who do the opposite ...go out of their way to hurt others..It varies how they learn these views. Sometimes we don't know, other times these ideas come from their parents, or family, or friends, or media, or they just thought of these ideas themselves. Most times, what happens is totally indifferent. Hurts no on, helps no one.......

Can I add one more idea?...When you think you have heard it all, there is a new twist that changes it all to something new....So, in literature..they call it "variation on a theme"...and your story is just to show in that population of 320 million (I think 3rd in world population)...we got them all....
