Just FYI, satellite imagery suggests N. Korea is continuing to upgrade its nuclear enrichment facility.

Commercial satellite imagery from June 21 indicates that improvements to the infrastructure at North Koreas Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center are continuing at a rapid pace.
A 38 North exclusive with analysis by Frank V. Pabian, Joseph S. Bermudez Jr. and Jack Liu.
Continued work at the Yongbyon facility should not be seen as having any relationship to North Koreas pledge to denuclearize. The Norths nuclear cadre can be expected to proceed with business as usual until specific orders are issued from Pyongyang.

(5,550 posts)Obama knew we couldn't do anything about their nuclear program, but didn't pretend we could do anything about it. Trump concocted this whole grand scheme of being the great deal maker that made North Korea give up their nukes and love America. It's all bull crap.
They are going to get nukes. It's inevitable. It's either that, or fight a war that will kill millions of people. It's already a catch-22.
We are in no different a situation than we were before the summit. The US gave up on doing anything about North Korea and wanted a way to save face.
