He's a terrific progressive and the polar opposite of his Trumpite, right wing nut job opposition.

and LESS progressive than I would like, and that maybe many in the district would like (a past fan of charter schools for example, which led the teachers to oppose him; also a rich candidate who can self-fund...which makes me uneasy). OTOH definitely miles better than his opponent and I think CO (currently sorta purple) is on the verge of going reliably blue.
