"Consent of the governed"?

A clear majority of us did not consent to Trump. 12 million more of us voted for someone else to be POTUS. Only a combination of gerrymandering, voter suppression and Russia's criminal intervention secured his perverse electoral vote "victory". In my opinion,Trump is clearly an illegitimate president.

Consider that.

Wrap your head around it.

An illegitimate president is not "the president". An illegitimate president has no legal authority. Trump had no authority to nominate Gorsuch. Therefore, Gorsuch's appointment and confirmation as a Justice of the SCOTUS is invalid, i.e., null and void. All those 5 to 4 conservative reversals of lower court decisions were actually 4 to 4 ties and, therefore, the lower court decisions should not be altered.

ALL of Trump's judicial appointments are similarly invalid.

Will my reasoning prevail? Will all these judge's seats be declared vacant? Will our government reverse the 2016 election and evict Trump and Pence?

Of course not.. That, in the opinion of---I verily believe, most Americans---would be "justice". And, the fact that justice will not be done---or even attempted---is a major component of the widespread opinion that "politicians don't care about me".

Trump's illegitimacy is "the elephant in the room" and, possibly, the third rail in November's elections.

Unfortunately, that does not change the fact that he was, albeit with the aid of gerrymandering, voter suppression and Russian intervention, legitimately elected.

The remedy will require fixing the very obviously broken system. But before we can do that, we have to win within it.

One can not be "legitimately" elected if there is cheating involved.

He was not elected. Period.

Yep. That one really put the fear of gawd into them, didn't it?
