The people should have a voice and no nomination should be put forth until after the mid-term elections.

Let's see if the Senate Democrats can hold together for six months for the sake of the United States and the Constitution. They're remarkably susceptible to Fox hysteria and major media scoldings; will they grow a thicker hide than Mitch McConnell?

we really can't stop them or even slow them down much.

if we get a majority in the senate, it's a different story, but even if we get one in the mid-terms, they'll confirm kennedy's replacement before the new congress is sworn in.

they might briefly try to avoid going nuclear, but they won't compromise their pick. they'll go nuclear if they have to, and it will barely make news. just like most people don't realize they went nuclear to get gorsuch in.

The country is becoming more liberal, once republicans go nuclear, that bell can't be in rung, it will kill them down the line.

they'll want someone insanely right-wing, but they don't want a name out there to motivate democrats to vote.
